The Quality Assessment Commission (CAQ) participates in assessment at institutional level of teaching standards (degrees), of activities, services and management (functions which the old consortium carried out since 1996) and has new functions in the area of certification and the accreditation at institutional level of titles, centres and systems orientated towards the new European dimension of higher education.
This Commission is presided by Josep Anton Ferré Vidal, the director of AQU Catalunya. The other members of the Commission are as follows:
