Following the official publication (BOE) of Royal Decree 989/2008, 13 June, concerning exceptional recruitment for this post, AQU Catalunya will again issue pre-selection reports.

The Royal Decree lays down that, in exceptional circumstances and with a statement of grounds, the universities may recuit non-tenured collaborating teaching staff for specific degree programmes, posts which could be filled by general degree (diplomatura) holders, engineering technicians and archchitectural technicians. The AQU's CLiC Commission, which deals with tenure-track and non-civil servant, non-PhD teaching staff, will therefore be reviewing the assessment criteria over the coming months.

The next call for the issuance of pre-selection reports for the recruitment of collaborating teaching staff will be in January 2009.
