AQU Catalunya has opened the application period for grants to finance an experimental follow-up of official bachelor and master's degrees, to which universities from the Catalan university system may apply. With a total budget of €30,000, the grant per degree programme is €1,250, with a maximum of €2,500 per university. The application period begins 17 June and ends 26 June 2009.

Universities will have to deliver the initial conclusions on 30 October 2009 and the final conclusions on 29 January 2010.

This action is set amongst the Agency's objectives of collaboration with the Catalan universities in order to facilitate the development of their own reference framework for the follow-up of the quality of the official degree programmes that is aimed at defining the follow-up reports, both in terms of structure and content.
