The 2010 call for the AUDIT programme is aimed, as every year, at all departments, faculties, institutions and universities in the Catalan higher education system. As in the previous call, universities can either submit internal quality assurance systems (IQAS) specific to a department, faculty or institution (designed and adapted to the characteristics and distinguishing attributes of each participating institution) or general IQAS models for the university as a whole.

Affiliated institutions and foundations of Catalan universities with higher education study programmes are also able to participate for the first time in this year’s call. In the specific case of foundations, applications to be involved in the programme will depend on a study of their particular characteristics.

There are two categories in the 2010 call: extension and assessment.

The category of extension is for departments, faculties and institutions that intend to overall apply IQAS positively assessed in previous calls.

The category of assessment is for departments, faculties, institutions and universities submitting IQAS models that have not been previously assessed. This category also includes departments, faculties, institutions and/or universities that were not positively assessed in previous calls or that are partially adopting an IQAS positively assessed in a previous call.

Formal application is to be made prior to 15 February 2010. The deadline for submitting the required documentation is 30 June (applications in Catalan) and 9 July (applications in Spanish).
