The processing of all applications for the assessment of research work by public service teaching and research staff at public universities in Catalonia for the purpose of salary bonuses for merits in research has now been completed. All periods being assessed terminated, at the latest, on 31 December 2008. 557 applications were received, of which 96% were favourably assessed:

TS: total; TSR: unresolved; F: positive; D: negative; %F: % positive.

Official notification in an Edict dated 24 December 2008 [ca] was given to applicants of the rulings regarding the assessment of research work by public service teaching and research staff at public universities in Catalonia by the research accreditation panels. Notification in this manner was also given to individuals to whom individual notification had proved to be impossible.
