At its meeting on 23 March, the governing body of AQU Catalunya endorsed the modifications to the Agency's Activities Plan for 2010. The Plan is divided up into six main strategic areas:

• The quality of learning
• The quality of teaching
• Knowledge creation
• Internationalisation
• Strategic management and communication
• Internal organisation

High priority activities for 2010 include the follow-up of EHEA-adapted qualifications; the project to study the processing and automated reading of teaching staff cvs for the purposes of evaluation by AQU Catalunya; the defining of indicators for use in the quality enhancement of Catalan universities; the fourth graduate labour market outcomes survey; the survey for employers; and reinforcement of coordination with the universities and social stakeholders in civil society.

In the same meeting, the Board of Management gave its approval to the 2009 Activities Report, which furthers the Agency's transparency and accountability in relation to institutional quality review and teaching staff evaluation processes, as well as the internal functioning of the Agency. The financial statement, the annual closing of accounts and the inventory for 2009 were also approved.
