Based on the lessons learned, feedback and materials from the already completed reviews, the training sessions aim at providing experts with, among others, the necessary knowledge and guidance on the interpretation of the ENQA membership criteria/European Standards and Guidelines (ESG).
Setting up of the CAQ's special review panels18.02.2011
Amongst other things, the review panels are responsible for issuing assessment reports on recognised degree programme proposals prior to ex-ante assessment. Decisions are made by consensus between the panel members, and advice may be requested from external experts during the programme review processes.
AQU Catalunya approves the Guidebook to the drawing up and ex-ante assessment of proposals for Bachelor's and Master's degrees08.02.2011
The Guidebook, which was endorsed by the Quality Assessment Commission, has been designed as an aid, on the one hand, for university academic coordinators to produce proposals for new recognised degree courses and, on the other, the institution itself for the internal review of proposals. It will also serve the Agency to establish the instrument to be used for the independent external review.

The fourth AQU study of the labour market outcomes of graduates from Catalan universities is being carried out during 2011. All of the Catalan universities are participating in this year's study, which will be the most extensive analysis of this type ever carried out in the European Union.
