A group of 15 people, including the president and general secretary, of the Romanian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ARACIS) visited AQU Catalunya on 24 February. Amongst other issues, the Romanian delegation showed interest in the quality assurance processes used with national and transnational degree programmes, the ways that autonomy for Catalan universities works, and the relationship between the universities and the work of the Agency, management review and the development of governance.

During their visit to Catalonia, the ARACIS delegation also visited the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC) and the Autonomous University of Catalonia (UAB).
