The first ex-ante assessment reports on proposals for recognised degrees are issued

AQU Catalunya issued thirteen ex-ante assessment reports that correspond to two proposals for undergraduate and Master's degrees to be introduced in the 2011-2012 academic year at the UB, UPF, URL, UVic and UIC universities. According to the current regulations, recognised degree programmes must have been issued an ex-ante assessment report by AQU to be accredited by the Universities Council and subsequently introduced in the universities.

The Agency also produced four reports on modifications to undergraduate programmes that are already running at the URL and UVic universities, and it will shortly issue sixteen more ex-ante assessment reports on one proposed undergraduate programme and fifteen Masters. A further six programmes at the UB, UPF, UdG and UIC will be issued modification reports over the next few weeks.

The ministry of Education's Register of Universities, Faculties and Degrees (RUCT) gives all relevant information on recognised university courses in Spain.
