September 2011
AQU Catalunya has published the new version of the Guidebook to the drawing up and ex-ante assessment of proposals for Bachelor and Master's programmes, which was approved by the Quality Assessment Commission on 28 June 2011.
The modifications include improvements to the wording of various sections and updates to the sources of reference in several chapters, although there is no change in the overall content of the guidebook.
The reason for improving the Guidebook is the Agency's intention of perfecting the way in which programme proposals are developed and then assessed (ex-ante), taking into account the input during the first six months of assessment from contributions by academic coordinators in the university, reviewers and the Agency's QA experts who have participated in the assessment process.
The purpose of the Guidebook is to be a useful working document with guidelines for academic coordinators of programmes for developing the design of proposals and in relation to quality.
