Following four years of its activity, the AQU's Specific Committee for the Assessment of Individual Merits and Activities (CEMAI) was partially renewed in October, within the process of renewal of the composition of the Agency's various review, accreditation and certification bodies.

The following are new members of the CEMAI committee:

• ­Manuela Hidalgo Muñoz (University of Girona)
• ­Joan Carbonell Manils (Autonomous University of Barcelona/UAB)
• ­Jordi Pérez Sánchez (Pompeu Fabra University)
• ­Artur Parcerisa Arán (University of Barcelona)
• ­Antonio Vernet Peña (Rovira i Virgili University)

The rules of procedure for the committee, which are the same as those for the Quality Assessment Committee (CAQ), provide for the inclusion of one student, which will take place shortly.
