AQU Catalunya has participated in the Ninth Annual Conference of the Forum on Education Abroad Moving Beyond It Was Great: Student Learning and Development in Education Abroad, held in Chicago April 3-5, 2013.

The Conference examined the innumerable aspects and intersections of student learning and development in education abroad.

The focus in the session AQU was involved was quality assurance and accreditation requirements. How the Quality Improvement Program (QUIP) in the case of the U.S. and Ireland and the Guide to the external quality assurance of the study abroad programme developed by AQU in the case of the UAB provide external quality assurance to assess and improve Study Abroad programmes.
