At its meeting dated June 14, the AQU Board of Management ratified the new composition of the Research Assessment Commission (CAR) proposed by the chairman, Dr. Joan Rodés. New comission members are as follows: ?

• Dr. Alexandre Alsina Keith, Universitat Pompeu Fabra, and member of Specific Committee for Humanities. ?
• Dra. Anna Maria Serra Tort, Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, and member of Specific Committee for Sciences. ?
• Dra. Teresa Estrach Panella, Universitat de Barcelona, and member of Specific Committee for Health and Medical Sciences.
• Dra. Susan Webb Youdale, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and member of Specific Committee for Health and Medical Sciences.
• Dr. Eduardo Soriano García, Universitat de Barcelona, and member of Specific Committee for Health and Medical Sciences.

At the same meeting, the Board of Management ratified the new composition of the Tenure-track and Collaborating Teaching Staff Committee (CLiC) proposed by the chairwoman, Dr. Maria Lluïsa Hernanz. New member is Dr. Jordi García Ojalvo (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya), who has also been was appointed as chairman of the select committee for Sciences.
