A workshop titled "The impact of the crisis on graduates. Findings of the analysis of the 2014 graduate employment outcomes survey" is to be held on Wednesday 13 April at the Sala Multimèdia, IQS/Institut Químic de Sarrià (Ramon Llull University) from 9:30 a.m. onwards.

The event will include the presentation of the findings of the analysis of the employment outcomes survey of Master’s graduates and the findings of the studies awarded grants by AQU Catalunya for research into the employment outcomes of graduates.

Grants were awarded to the research groups led by:

• Dr. Helena Troiano, with the Education and Work Research Group (GRET), Department of Sociology, Autonomous University of Barcelona, with research on "Equity in access to and going on from university";
• Dr. Marc Saez, with the Statistics, Econometrics and Health Research Group (GRECS), University of Girona and CIBER Epidemiology and Public Health (CIBERESP), with research on "The effect of the crisis on university degree programmes".

The purpose of the presentation of these studies is to initiate discussion on ways in which the universities can address the challenges facing the labour market in order to be able to better and more quickly adapt to the needs of society.
