The second meeting of the members of the LIREQA project (Linking Academic Recognition and Quality Assurance) was held at AQU Catalunya on Tuesday, 13 February 2018.

The results and findings of the surveys carried out in the universities and ENIC-NARIC (the bodies that deal with the recognition of qualifications across Europe) were presented during the meeting, and preparatory work was done on a recommendation paper for these bodies.

The LIREQA project is funded by the European Erasmus+ programme (Key action 3: Support for Policy Reform), which is coordinated by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC), and AQU Catalunya participates by lending its expertise as a QA agency.

The main aim of the LIREQA project is to contribute to the fair recognition of qualifications through the development of recommendations dealing with academic recognition and internal and external quality assurance.
