Martí Casadesús, director of AQU Catalunya and secretary of the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education, led the network's annual General Assembly, in which 54 member organisations took part. The session, which was held on 27 March, included a presentation of the activities carried out over the last year, a budget review for 2019 and the budget proposal for 2020.

A delegation from the Russian Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education and Career Development (AKKORK), the organiser of the INQAAHE Forum in 2020, presented the main features of next year's event, which will take place in Moscow.
