The purpose of the Programme, which will have a duration of two years, is to serve as a reference framework for future policy on universities, research and innovation, with the possibility of a one-year extension.
AQU Catalunya is involved in two of the programme's bodies:
- The Plenary Assembly, which is the instrument of engagement of the different actors involved in developing the PN@SC and for validating proposals by the Permanent Committee on the basis of proposals made in turn by the different Working Groups also set up under the Agreement. Its main functions is to prepare the final proposal for the Pact and submit it to the competent ministry for approval by the Catalan government, which will then submit it to the Catalan Parliament.
- The Permanent Committee, which is the supervisory and coordinating body in charge of the development and approval of the PN@SC.
