A conference on the subject of Towards a European model for quality in e-Learning was held yesterday at the Universidad Nacional de Educación a Distancia (UNED/Spanish National University for Distance Learning Education). Different experts put forward the challenges posed by digitisation with regard to teaching and learning, as well as the requisite technological resources. The conference also served to develop and raise awareness of the changes that are occurring in the field of higher education.
Along these lines, Esther Huertas, project manager at AQU Catalunya, presented a paper Towards a European model for quality in e-Learning. The ENQA proposal: E-assessment through TESLA, in which she outlined both the findings of the ENQA working group on quality assurance in e-assessment and the outcomes of the TeSLA project.
