Royal Decree 989/2008, 13 June lays down that, in exceptional circumstances and with a statement of grounds, the universities may recuit non-tenured collaborating teaching staff for specific degree programmes, posts which could be filled by general degree (diplomatura) holders, engineering technicians and archchitectural technicians.

Prerequisites for the post:

• To hold a degree certificate.
• To pass a screening process which includes an internal assessment procedure carried out by the contracting university and an external assessment procedure monitored by AQU Catalunya.
