At the start of the procedure, all online applications sent to Tràmits Gencat have to be formally validated:
In order to use the Government of Catalonia’s electronic services that require online identification, either a digital certificate or an idCAT SMS certificate is valid.
Signatures using a self-signed digital ID in Adobe will not be accepted.
For more information on Digital ID, please go to the following link: http://web.gencat.cat/en/tramits/sobre-tramits-gencat/com-tramitar-en-linia/identificacio-digital/index.html
Reports and research and advanced research accreditations do not expire.
Persons who have applied for a report prior to shortlisting for the posts of tenure-track lecturer may apply for a new report for the same post in the next application period.
The applicants, depending on their speciality, should list a maximum of two subjects. CAR Commission has set up six committees, one for each field of knowledge, which will be charged with the assessment of applications. The Commission and the specific committees will decide the definitive destination of the applications.
It is not necessary for photocopies to be stamped. In the application and the curriculum vitae the candidate signs a declaration certifying the authenticity of the data and additional documentation, and in the case of inaccuracies agrees to bear the consequences.
Copies of published work are not necessary. Only in cases where the work has been accepted but is still pending publication should it be presented in digital format (in pdf or ms-word) together with documentary proof of acceptance for publication by the editor.
Both the total number of subject modules and the modules that have been taught by the candidate should be listed.
On many occasions the contributions to congresses may be published in the form of an article in a review, proceedings, as a chapter in a book, etc. In this section the name of the review or book, etc. should be mentioned and also the first and last page of the article (and the number of the review if this is the case).
Teaching experience can be accredited by presenting either the General Teaching Programme or the Individual Teaching Programme duly signed by the relevant academic authorities and where the candidate's teaching positions are listed, or by presenting a certificate signed by the head of department responsible for the subjects taught, in which those subjects and modules taught are specified.
