AQU Catalunya's Governing Board holds meeting via video link
AQU Catalunya's Governing Board held its tenth meeting, for the first time via video link and in accordance with its internal rules of procedure, between 1-9 April 2020, enabling the members of the Governing Board to discuss and approve all of the items on the agenda for the day.
During the meeting, the director and president reported on recent developments at the Agency. In particular, this included the protocols for working from home (teleworking) and for the quality assurance of programmes, institutions and teaching staff, and an exposition of institutional reaccreditation for faculties and schools, which AQU's Institutional and Programme Review Committee (CAIP) has been developing recently.
The chairpersons of the Agency's Research Assessment Committee and the Appeals Committee also presented the annual reports on the activities of their respective committees.
The Governing Board endorsed AQU Catalunya's Annual Activities and Corporate Social Responsibility Report for 2019, as well as the modification of the Agency's domicile and AQU Catalunya's signing of the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment.
It also appointed new members to the Institutional and Programme Review Committee and the Research Assessment Committee, as well as new members to the Appeals Committee.
All agreements that the Agency entered into and signed between December 2019 and March 2020 were also ratified in the meeting and AQU Catalunya's staff establishment plan for 2020 was modified.
