Specific committee for Social Sciences teaching staff assessment split in two
The change is made with the aim of providing a better response to the high volume of requests for teaching staff assessment in this area and, at the same time, to be able to carry out a more accurate assessment.
As of October 2021, the specific committee for Social Sciences teaching staff assessment, which reports to the Research Assessment Committee, will be structured into two subcommittees as follows:
- Social Sciences Specific Subcommittee 1: includes the sub-areas of Law, Economics, Politics and Sociology, Communication and Information Science, and Geography.
- Social Sciences Specific Subcommittee 2: includes the sub-areas of Education and Psychology.
The chair of the Social Sciences Specific Committee remains unchanged and falls to Dr Eva Anduiza, who will continue to be in charge of the assessments carried out by this specific committee, while at the same time being directly responsible for subcommittee 1.
Dr Anduiza will be supported by Social Sciences Specific Committee vice-chair, Dr Olga Valverde, professor at Pompeu Fabra University and current Committee member, who will be directly responsible for subcommittee 2.
