Dr. Eva Anduiza (UAB) and Dr. Rosa M. Martí (UdL), new members appointed to AQU's Research Assessment Committee
AQU's Governing Board, at the proposal of Dr. Lluís Torner, chair of AQU's Research Assessment Committee/CAR, has appointed the following new members to AQU's Research Assessment Committee:
- Dr. Eva Anduiza, professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona/UAB's Faculty of Political Science and Sociology (and who replaces Dr. Jacint Jordana, professor at the Pompeu Fabra University's Faculty of Political and Social Sciences)
- and Dr. Rosa Maria Martí, professor at the University of Lleida's Faculty of Medicine (and who replaces Dr. Teresa Estrach, professor at the University of Barcelona/UB's Faculty of Medicine).
The chair of AQU's CAR committee also appointed Dr. Eva Anduiza as chair of the specific committee that deals with the Social Sciences and Dr. Rosa Maria Aligué, professor at the University of Barcelona/UB's Faculty of Medicine and a current member on the Research Assessment Committee, as chair of the specific committee that deals with Medical and Health Sciences.
In addition to the committee chairperson, the Research Assessment Committee is made up of 20 academic members, of which nine are male and 11 female, and five of these each chair one of seven specific committees that carry out accreditation-related review and evaluation procedures.
The people who form part of the Research Assessment Committee and its seven specific committees, which are responsible for teaching staff assessment, are drawn from higher education institutions and public research institutions in Catalonia and fulfil the Eligibility requirements to participate in programme, institutional, teaching staff and appeal review procedures.
