Electronic processing through the Gencat Procedures website.
Step by Step
Once the online application has been initiated through the Gencat Procedures, you must follow the following steps:
Step 1: Apply
1. Download the application form
2. Complete, validate and save
3. Send for processing
Step 2: Make the corresponding payment and submit the documentation
Step 3: Check the status of a procedure
Step 4: Receive the asnwer from the Administration
Advice
- Please note that only one file can be attached for each type of documentation. Once files have been attached, they cannot be modified.
- In case you leave some section incomplete (without documentation), the following message will appear: "Currently this procedure has still pending requirements". You can ignore this message in case you have attached the required documents.

Documents
Once you have sent your completed application you can then send the documentation and pay the corresponding fee by clicking on My Folder at the Gencat Procedures website.
All documentation must be attached and sent to the Gencat Procedures website within 5 calendar days of sending the application. All alleged merits must refer to the period prior to the deadline for application submission.

Failure to submit these documents will void the application.

Curriculum Vitae | Curriculum Vitae Tenure-Track lecturer in English With regard to section B (Publications) and section D (Patents and utility models) of the curriculum, all data identifying the merits given must be entered. With regard to section E (Research stays) and section I (Teaching experience), all data must be entered and strictly coincide with the certificates submitted. Doctoral/PhD degree | Only for non-Spanish doctoral degree holders when an online data query to the e-Administration (PICA) platform is not authorised. |
ID or passport | Only for when an online data query to the e-Administration (PICA) platform is not authorised. |
Large family status | Only for when an online data query to the e-Administration (PICA) platform is not authorised. |
Academic transcript | A complete and official academic transcript of your first degree, with the average grade, and doctoral/PhD degree or master's degree leading to the doctoral degree. |
Supporting documentation
Failure to submit these documents will mean they will not be considered in the assessment
Document | Description |
---|---|
Teaching certificate | An official certificate, issued by the university, of formal teaching undertaken at higher education level. Only officially certified teaching will be considered. |
Research stays | An official certificate of research stays. The duration and work carried out must be specified. |
Publications accepted | Copy of the paper in electronic format, together with a document by the editor explaining the rationale for acceptance, in the same file (preferably in PDF). The acceptance must be final (no pending revisions). The acceptance must be definitive (with no pending revisions).
Only publications that have been accepted and comply with these requirements will be considered. |
Reference reports | No more than three reference reports. Up to three e.mail addresses can be given in the application form of academics of recognised standing who are willing to issue a confidential reference report on the applicant's academic career. These individuals will receive an e.mail whereby they can write and send the reference report. Although these assessment reports are optional, the Specific Assessment Committees value very positively reports issued by researchers of recognised academic prestige in their field. |
Protocol for action in the event of cases of fraud in teaching staff assessment processes
Results
Reports (favourable or unfavourable) are issued to candidates within six months from the date of the beginning of the call for applications.
To ensure the confidentiality of all participants, no results are given over the telephone.
