AQU Catalunya presented its experience on the assessment of joint masters Erasmus Mundus. The conference served as a common venue for the Nordic countries as well as a forum for the European higher education area in general to get together and discuss Nordic higher education and quality assurance.

The conference aimed to bring together experts from Nordic higher education institutions and quality assurance agencies and to create a forum to discuss the quality of higher education in the Nordic countries and the methods used to ensure the quality of the higher education system. The conference focused on both past experiences and the future challenges that the Nordic higher education is facing with the fulfillment of the Bologna process and the realization of the European Higher Education Area.

The Nordic conference was organized by The Ministry of Education, Science and Culture in Iceland, Nordic Quality Assurance Network in Higher Education (NOQA) and The University of Iceland.
