On 2nd and 3rd December 2012, the first meeting of the project TEMPUS EQuAM Enhancing Quality Assurance Management in Jordanian Universities, led by the UB took place. This project aims at assisting the creation of a model to assess the quality of the Jordanian higher education system.

In this project participate six Jordanian universities, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Jordan, the Islamic Association of Arab Universities (AARU), the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, the Accreditation Commission of Jordan, the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation of Spain (ANECA), the Agency for Quality Assurance in the Catalan University System (AQU) and several European universities.
