AQU Catalunya took part in the 2017 Conference of Economists organised by the Barcelona Association of Economists on the 27 October.

In the session titled "Training the professionals of the future: the need for change in the educational and training model", Anna Prades, senior advisor to AQU's Internationalisation and Knowledge Generation section, presented the employment data trends of the survey of employment outcomes of graduates of Catalan universities, together with an analysis of the data showing the skills and aspects of learning and training that need to be enhanced.

In the second half of the programme, Prades introduced the framework for the review of e-provision programmes (online, distance or/and blended courses) and presented the TeSLA project (Horizon 2020), which involves the defining of the system for online assessment that guarantees authentication and authorship at different points in the learning process. AQU Catalunya participates in this project and leads the package dealing with the quality assurance of online study programmes.
