AQU Catalunya, which chairs the ENQA working group on Quality assurance and E-learning, took part in the discussions on the subject organised in Brussels on 21 and 22 September.
At the meeting, Esther Huertas, senior adviser to AQU Catalunya, presented the recommendations for the quality assurance of e-learning that the QA agencies in the working group have been working on.
Forty-five stakeholder representatives from higher education institutions, governmental agencies and umbrella organisations, and QA agencies took part in the meeting. The discussions revolved around the new methods of teaching and learning that exist, together with the identification of the next steps in the development of blended and online programmes, as well as continuing education.
