A meeting of the Standing Committee of AQU Catalunya's Governing Board was held at the Agency's headquarters on Friday 1st December.

At the meeting, both the director and president of AQU Catalunya presented reports on the Agency's activities during 2017, the activities planned for next year, and the Agency's definitive budget for 2017, which will need to be endorsed by the Governing Board.

The Standing Committee also approved the timetable for the review in 2018 of all the procedures encompassed in the so-called VSMA Framework (the framework for the ex-ante accreditation, monitoring, modification and ex-post accreditation of recognised study programmes). It also designated the new members of the Research Assessment Commission (CAR) and ratified the agreements entered into by the Agency between July and October 2017.
