The 7th National Conference on E-Learning in Higher Education, which was organised by the Bulgarian National Centre for Distance Education in cooperation with two Bulgarian universities that participate in the TESLA project, the University of Sofia and the Technical University, Sofia, was held in Borovets (Bulgaria) from 20-23 September 2018.
Other members of the project that also attended the conference as invited speakers were two quality assurance agencies (AQU Catalunya and ENQA) and four universities (the Open University of Catalonia, the Open University/UK, Anadolu University and the University of Jyväskylä).
From the point of view of quality assurance, AQU Catalunya and ENQA jointly presented the paper “Enhancing the quality assurance of e-assessment”, in which the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the EHEA (ESG) were introduced within the context of e-education and e-assessment, together with the challenges associated with this mode of delivery. A presentation was then made of the review and evaluation processes carried out in the various pilot tests, together with the preliminary results and findings in what is the final stage of the project.
The event also included a presentation of the main features of the project, and the four universities presented their models for learning and teaching and described their experience using the TeSLA system.
