The Standing Committee of AQU Catalunya's Governing Board has designated:

• Dr. Juana María Díez, professor at the Pompeu Fabra University/UPF, as a new member of the Institutional and Programme Review Committee (CAIP), and who replaces Dr. Joan Ribera. Dr. Díez will chair the specific committee that deals with Health Sciences.
• Dr. Maria Rosa Buxarrais Estrada, professor at the University of Barcelona/UB, as a new member of the Research Assessment Committee and who replaces Dr. Gabriel Bugeda. Dr. Buxarrais will also chair AQU Catalunya's specific committee that deals with the assessment of staff teaching and management.
• Dr. Teresa Espinal Farré, professor at the Autonomous University of Barcelona/UAB, as a new member of the Appeals Committee and who replaces Dr. Joan Gómez Pallarés.
• Dr. Teresa Sánchez Chaparro, post-dissertation doctoral teaching assistant at the Polytechnic University of Madrid, as a new member of the Advisory Committee and who replaces Dr. Francesc Xavier Grau.

They all took up their duties on 1 December 2018 for a term of four years, renewable once.
