AQU Catalunya collaborated in the organisation of the 2nd TeSLA International Event, which was held at the Recinte Modernista de Sant Pau in Barcelona on the 15 February. This event to publicise the TeSLA projectwas organised by the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), which has coordinated the project, and was attended by different partners of the consortium, together with two invited speakers, Anita Walsh (University of London) and Massimo Loi (OECD), who talked about new paradigms in education linked with technology and the benefits and risks of quality assurance in the digital age.

AQU Catalunya, as the leader of the project's work package on quality assurance (WP4), together with the other partners (ENQA and EQANIE) in the work package, ran a round-table-workshop on quality assurance in e-assessment. The workshop saw the presentation of the European framework for the quality assurance of e-assessment, which consists of different standards and indicators, that has been used to assess different aspects of e-assessment in the seven universities that took part in various rounds of pilot testing over the last three years.

Roger Roca, project manager at AQU Catalunya, presented part of the overall results and findings obtained from the use of this working framework. In addition, Ana Rozeva (Technical University of Sofia) talked about her experience from the institutional point of view. Different workgroups were then formed among those attending to discuss the usefulness, the pros and cons, and the challenges facing the implementation of this framework.
