AQU Catalunya has accredited the process for teaching assessment in the teaching assessment handbooks used by the following public universities in Catalonia:

• Universitat de Barcelona
• Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona
• Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya
• Universitat Pompeu Fabra
• Universitat de Girona
• Universitat de Lleida
• Universitat Rovira i Virgili

The accreditation process involved a self-evaluation of the way that the model is applied and of its results by each university, together with a subsequent review by an external panel. The results of these evaluations were processed by the AQU committee that assesses personal merits and activities, which is responsible for the accreditation of these handbooks.

Amongst other uses, the teaching assessment handbook is the instrument used by the universities to assess the personal merits in teaching of both public service and contracted teaching and research staff at public universities in Catalonia for the allocation of salary bonuses, in accordance with current legislation.

This accreditation is valid as of 1 January 2009 until 31 December 2012.This accreditation is valid as of 1 January 2009 until 31 December 2012.
