Pursuant to Royal Decree 989/2008, 13 June, May 2013 is the final deadline for the universities to convene the competitive examination procedure to recruit collaborating teaching staff. For this reason, AQU's CLiC Commission agreed in a plenary session meeting that the next call for the issue of reports on tenure-track and collaborating teaching staff (September 2012) shall be the last to accept applications from collaborating teaching staff.

The vice-rectors in charge of academic staff at Catalan universities have been duly informed of this measure.
