After passing the second international review in accordance with ENQA European standards and guidelines, AQU Catalunya has renewed its membership on the European Quality Assurance Register, EQAR, until 2017.
Founded by the various European associations that group together the universities and other higher education institutions, students and quality assurance agencies —EUA (European University Association), EURASHE (European Association of Institutions in Higher Education), ESU (European Students Union) and ENQA (European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education)—, its purpose is to foster the development of the EHEA by raising the level of transparency in quality assurance.
EQAR is a register that lists the quality agencies that substantially comply with a common set of principles for quality assurance in Europe. AQU Catalunya was entered in the EQAR following an international external review which verified the Agency's compliance with the ESG.
