Improvements to the WINDDAT website (teaching indicators for the development and analysis of recognised degree programmes)

WINDDAT was launched in 2012 in order to help the universities in the monitoring of recognised degree programmes.

Work has continued to enhance and expand the use of this tool since it was introduced. The main new development is the setting up of a management environment whereby the universities can consult, validate and export data (in.xls and pdf formats) prior to these being made public. The new WINDDAT, which will be available in Spanish and English, will also allow for the cross-referencing and comparison of data.

From 1 March onwards, there will be two platforms running temporarily:

  • The original WINDDAT (http://winddat.aqu.cat/), with consolidated data on the 2007-2008 to 2010-2011 academic years for public universities in Catalonia, plus the University of Vic.
  • The new WINDDAT (http://apps-test.uab.cat/winddat_backoffice/), with the management environment, which contains data on the 2011-2012 and 2012-2013 academic years for all universities in Catalonia (both public and private).

It is envisaged that the WINDDAT will be definitively introduced and running at: http://winddat.aqu.cat/. To access data on the 2011-2012 academic year using the management environment of the new WINDDAT, a user-name and password are necessary (available from the vice-rector in charge of programme quality at each university).
