Dr. Sebastián Rodríguez Espinar, professor of Educational Guidance at the University of Barcelona and, for the last fifteen years, advisor on quality innovation and development to AQU Catalunya, has published the following books with the Síntesis publishers:

• La evaluación de la calidad en la educación superior: fundamentos y modelos (Quality assurance in higher education: fundaments and models)
• Panorama internacional de la evaluación de la calidad en la educación superior (Quality assurance in higher education: the international panorama), and
• La evaluación de la calidad en la educación obligatoria (Quality assurance in compulsory education).

To mark the occasion, AQU Catalunya and the University of Barcelona have jointly organised an event to publicise these books and above all in recognition of the contributions made by Dr. Rodríguez in the field of quality assurance and enhancement in higher education and the university system in Catalonia.

 The event is being held on 5 November at 6 pm in the University of Barcelona's Aula Magna.
