Josep Grifoll, Head of Quality Assessment department of AQU Catalunya, took part in the latest edition of the European Foundation for Quality in e-Learning Innovation Forum, which was hosted by the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (Open University of Catalonia, UOC) in Barcelona on 25-27 September. In this interview, he discusses the main challenges for higher education in new online learning environments. Grifoll believes that many things will have to continue to evolve in this emerging framework, including the figure of the traditional teacher, who needs an increasingly diverse range of skills.
