The first meeting in 2014 of the AQU Catalunya Board of Management was held on 2 April, the main work of which was the approval of the following documents:

• Guidelines for the certification of the internal quality assurance system and the effects on VSMA framework procedures [ca]
• Framework for the positioning of AQU Catalunya regarding subject-specific quality labels [ca]
• The Annual Report for 2013 [ca]

The Board of Management, chaired by Josep Joan Moreso, comprises the rectors of all public universities in Catalonia, the chairpersons of all boards of trustees of the public universities in Catalonia, three academics of renowned standing, the Director-General for Universities, the Director-General for Research, the chairperson of AQU's Research Assessment Commission (CAR), the chairperson of AQU's CLiC Commission (which deals with tenure-track and collaborating teaching staff), together with the Director and Secretary of AQU Catalunya.
