Within the framework of the TEMPUS project – EQTeL: Enhancing Quality of Technology-Enhanced Learning at Jordanian Universities, AQU Catalunya participated in the "International Training for HEAC". The Higher Education Accreditation Commission/HEAC is the official body that acts as a QA agency in Jordan.

The training session, which took place at HEAC headquarters on 26 May 2016, was attended by members of HEAC and staff responsible for quality assurance at different universities in Jordan. The session began with an overview of the European viewpoint of quality assurance, and then dealt with good practices in the design, implementation and evaluation of online study programmes. This was followed by review procedures and systems for the quality assurance of online courses, from both a university and QA agency's point of view.
