AQU Catalunya, with its know-how in the field, has been invited by the OECD to participate in the study, Assessment of Higher Education Learning Outcomes (AHELO). The aim of the study, which has been approved by the OECD Education Ministers, is to analyse the feasibility of the external assessment of the learning outcomes of graduates from higher education institutions in different dimensions of the general and specific competences that university students need to acquire.
The study sets out to analyse the level of achievement in these competences of graduates in Economics and Engineering. AQU Catalunya is involved in the group that designs the instruments and indicators used to contextualise the results obtained.
AHELO is intended to be a kind of PISA study for Higher Education.
