The EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education) General Assembly has approved the appointment of Josep Grifoll, technical director of AQU Catalunya's Quality Assessment Department as a member of the Register Committee.

The Register Committee comprises 11 members who act as independent experts in quality assurance in higher education in accordance with their individual capacity.

The Register Committee receives, evaluates and decides which requests submitted by agencies operating in the sector may be included in EQAR.

Each founding member of the EQAR (ENQA, ESU, EUA, EURASHE) proposes two members for the Register Committee, while each of the so-called Social Partners (BUSINESSEUROPE, Education International) proposes one.
