Josep Grifoll, technical director of AQU Catalunya's Quality Assessment Department, has been appointed coopted member of the Board of the European Consortium for Accreditation in higher education, ECA.

In 2010, AQU Catalunya joined the European Consortium for Accreditation, the aim of which is the mutual recognition of accreditation and quality assurance decisions. The work of ECA is carried out mainly by working groups, each of which is made up of representatives of the member agencies.
