AQU Catalunya participated in the 10th European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), titled "Taking stock and looking forward", which was held at the UCL Institute of Education in London on 19-21 November 2015.
In addition to marking the tenth anniversary of the Forum, EQAF 2015 also reflected on the developments in quality assurance (QA) and higher education over the past decade, from the introduction of the first edition of the Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area (ESG) in 2005, the formal launch of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) in 2010, and right up to the revision of the ESG in early 2015. In doing so, participants examined the added value that QA brings to the higher education landscape and how best it can be demonstrated
All of the other presentations are available on the EQAF website.
The European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF) is an annual event co-organised by the E4-Group (ENQA, ESU, EUA and EURASHE). It is the main European conference on quality assurance (QA) in higher education, which brings together all key stakeholders in this field, including higher education institutions, QA agencies and students. It provides a unique platform for the higher education and quality assurance (QA) communities to monitor, shape and anticipate developments in the field of quality assurance in higher education.
