Amendment of the criteria for the assessment of applications for preliminary reports for teaching staff (tenure-eligible lecturers, senior lecturers and professors) in the Social Sciences
On the 19 June, the Research Assessment Commission's committee dealing with the Social Sciences endorsed the amendment of the criteria for the issuance of preliminary reports for tenure-eligible lecturers and for research accreditation and advanced research accreditation. The changes will come into effect with the second call for applications in 2019. The changes deal essentially with a new classification for contributions in the form of articles.
The new proposed classification for contributions in the form of articles is as follows:

|---|---|
| Level A | For all fields of knowledge in the Social Sciences: JCR Q1, JCR Q2; Scopus Q1 (SJR) For the field of Law: CARHUS A |
| Level B | For all fields of knowledge in the Social Sciences: JCR Q3; Scopus Q2 (SJR) For the field of Law: CARHUS B |
| Level C | For all fields of knowledge in the Social Sciences: JCR Q4; Scopus Q3 (SJR) For the field of Law: CARHUS C |
