The first International Higher Educational Guidance Conference (CIOU2018) was held at the University of Zaragoza from 5-7 September.

AQU Catalunya participated in the round table on "QA authorities and agencies and higher education guidance", organised by ACPUA. Albert Basart, a QA senior advisor with the Agency, presented the EUC web portal and explained its usefulness as a tool for offering information of interest on the quality of higher education degree programmes to students (both prospective and current) and their families, as well as for educational guidance staff.

The congress activities were organised into three main sections: pre-university educational guidance for students, support and guidance for students during their time at university; and support and guidance for university graduates.
