AQU Catalunya is organising a workshop to be held on 18 December titled "The requirements of public administration in higher education. Challenges for the future", Room 13.007 in the Ramon Turró building, Ciutadella Campus.

The aim of the event is to provide institutions with information on the perception of the public authorities and administration at both local level and in general of higher education, the objective being to strengthen synergies between these two worlds and for the purposes of programme enhancement.

In order to encourage discussion and analysis among those attending, Carles Ramió, professor of Political and Administration Sciences at the Pompeu Fabra University/UPF, will talk about the prospects of employment in public administration, and Martí Casadesús, the director of AQU Catalunya, will present the opinion of local authorities based on an analysis of the findings of the Employers survey.

The round table will offer the opportunity for discussion of the needs and requirements of the local public authorities and administration in relation to higher education and the challenges for the future.
