Continuing with the cycle of sectoral round table-workshops in the Employers project, organised by AQU Catalunya, a round table-workshop on Facing the challenges of the 21st century – the future for tourism education was held at the University of Girona's Faculty of Tourism on 27 February.

The round table-workshop saw the presentation of the results and findings of the employers survey for the tourism sector and also provided academia and the business and corporate world the opportunity to gather and exchange opinions on the university-level education of graduates in Tourism.

AQU Catalunya has just released a document with the Conclusions and proposals for facing the challenges of the 21st century – the future for tourism education, which is a compilation of the contributions and input from the workshop.
