The Standing Committee of AQU Catalunya's Governing Board met today to approve the final budget for 2019 and to designate a new member of the Agency's Institutional and Programme Review Committee.

In addition to these matters, the Agency's president informed the committee of the latest new developments in AQU Catalunya's activities, including the situation of the survey studies of the satisfaction of recent graduates, the employment outcomes of those who graduated three years ago, and the perceptions of employers regarding the education and employment outcomes of graduates. The findings of the survey study on the Profile of tenure-eligible lecturers (2013-2017) and the survey study of gender and merits in research were also explained.

The director of AQU Catalunya reported on external programme reviews and the site visits being organised, together with the outcomes of the accreditation procedures, the proposed methodology for the institutional accreditation of HE faculties and schools, the increase of 34% compared to 2018 in the number of applications for teaching staff assessment and accreditation, and the development of the new EUC web portal.

The Standing Committee also ratified the agreements entered into and signed between July and December 2019.
