The unexpected appearance of the pandemic led to a complex end-of-the-academic-year due to the adjustments and adaptation required of everyone in terms of the new situation, both work-wise and personally.

The efforts made across the entire system of higher education in Catalonia to adjust to the new demands and requirements while maintaining required levels of quality have been enormous. In the case of AQU Catalunya, the challenges that we have faced and quite successfully addressed have been the replanning of all the Agency's activities and the transformation of all quality assurance procedures from in-person to distance and online procedures, in addition to the Agency's physical change of location.

To sum up, in spite of the pandemic we have continued to work one hundred per cent in all areas, both planned and unforeseen, online and by video link, which explains the large quantity of documentation and knowledge generated over the last three months. This edition of the online newsletter contains two examples of the activities AQU has carried out for your summer reading: one deals with the way that accreditation site visits are carried out by way of video link and the other sets out the findings of the recent graduate satisfaction survey that the Agency coordinates together with the entire system of universities and higher education in Catalonia.

I'll keep this editorial short and will just finish off by wishing you all, in the name of AQU Catalunya, a good summer holiday, have a good break so you can come back full of energy for next term and, most importantly, enjoy being with loved ones and friends.
